The Florida Defense Carbine Club (FDCC - www.fldcc.com) was started by Neil when he moved to Florida in 2000, after participating in IDPA for a few years and wanting to do the same style shooting with rifles. FDCC has been holding FREE matches the last Sunday of every month (except Octobers) without fail for the last 10 years. We've even shot in the middle of a hurricane. Sunday, October 24th, we celebrated these past ten years of matches by holding a large anniversary event. I'm especially proud of the Gun Gallery group who not only placed VERY well in the overall standings, but ALL worked long hours setting up the event and running the match, registration and raffle throughout the day. Nearly 150 shooters competed throughout the day and of the nearly 60 who ranked by shooting all 5 courses, our group did as follows:
